BloodyKnux 2009 Year End Awards As one of the few MMA websites that has been around for the majority of the last decade, Bloodyknux.com has decided to throw their turd into the never ending swirl of this/that awards given by all the promotions to themselves. We'll have both decade and annual awards, and Knuxxor mods and members will string together whatever flawed reasoning we can between tequila shots to prove our awards are the best. BK members know these are the only opinions that matter, and anyone that disagrees can challenge Squabbles to a Sumo match. At least then we can all agree on who to root for. Chris Leben does his job at the UFC's first show in Fairfax Virginia After several professional show broke ground in the DC area, Zuffa has decided that the market is ready for the big guns to come to town. As with most of their promotional plans, they were right on the money. Selling out the Patriot Center, all the way to the rafters, the UFC brought in what appeared to be a lackluster card, but for the most part delivered a great night of fights. The only thing that marred the event were certainly beyond the control of any promoter, as the same local judges responsible for the recent Mike Easton/Chase Beebe decision, are under scrutiny again for several tough decisions.
